KTC BV at SIAL Paris 2026: New Opportunities, Global Connections and Teamwork

From strengthening long-standing partnerships to exploring new markets for packaging solutions, SIAL Paris 2026 was an opportunity for KTC BV to connect with the global food industry, exchange market perspectives, and build relationships for the future.

Held from 17–21 October 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte, France, SIAL Paris once again brought together businesses from across the international food sector. The 2026 edition featured 7,232 exhibitors and 361,600 products on display across 10 key sectors, reflecting the breadth and diversity of today’s food industry.

For KTC BV, the exhibition was about more than discovering products and industry developments. It was an opportunity for the entire team to meet partners face-to-face, explore new commercial opportunities, and strengthen the relationships that support our work across food commodities, ingredients, and packaging solutions.

A Global Meeting Point for Food Business

International exhibitions such as SIAL provide a valuable opportunity to understand how markets are evolving, exchange ideas with industry professionals, and identify opportunities across different product categories and regions.

Throughout the exhibition, the KTC BV team connected with existing partners, met new industry contacts, and discussed changing market conditions, sourcing requirements, and potential areas for cooperation.

For a company operating across international markets, these conversations are an important part of understanding the challenges and opportunities facing suppliers and customers alike. Market developments, product specifications, availability, and changing business requirements all influence commercial decisions.

Being present at an event of this scale allows KTC BV to stay close to the people and businesses shaping the industry while exploring how our trading activities and packaging division can respond to evolving market needs.

Representing KTC BV: Leadership, Connections and Collaboration

For General Manager Gasper Marusa, SIAL Paris was an opportunity to engage with industry partners, exchange perspectives, and represent KTC BV among professionals from across the international food sector.

International exhibitions such as SIAL create valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, meet new contacts, and discuss the developments shaping the industry. These conversations help businesses maintain a broader understanding of market conditions and identify potential areas for future cooperation.

For KTC BV, staying connected with the people behind the products and markets we serve remains an important part of building sustainable, long-term business relationships.

Gasper Marusa, General Manager of KTC BV, reflects:

“SIAL was a great combination of productive business meetings, reconnecting with our partners, and discovering new opportunities. Just as importantly, it gave our team the chance to work closely together, share a few laughs, and create memorable moments along the way. I’m grateful to our team for their hard work and to everyone who took the time to meet with us in Paris.”

Strengthening Partnerships and Exploring Market Opportunities

For KTC BV’s Senior Trader, Dayrlane Mason, SIAL was an opportunity to reconnect with established business partners, build new relationships, and discuss developments affecting international commodity markets.

Meetings with familiar contacts help strengthen the trust and communication that underpin long-term commercial relationships. At the same time, conversations with new industry participants create opportunities to explore additional sourcing possibilities, understand changing customer requirements, and discuss potential business deals.

These exchanges are particularly valuable in a market environment where supply conditions, pricing, logistics, and customer expectations continue to evolve. Staying informed requires more than monitoring market data; it also means listening to the people working across the supply chain and understanding their perspectives.

Dayrlane Mason, Senior Trader at KTC BV, reflects:

“SIAL was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with existing partners while meeting many new people from across the industry. The conversations gave us the chance to exchange views on market changes and current challenges, explore new sourcing possibilities, and discuss opportunities for future business. Building on established relationships while developing new connections is an important part of our work, and events like SIAL help us keep those conversations moving forward.”

Expanding Opportunities for KTC BV’s Packaging Division

For Aleksandra Hristov, Business Development at KTC BV, SIAL provided an opportunity to focus on new market opportunities for the company’s growing packaging division.

With packaging playing an increasingly important role across the food industry, the exhibition offered a broad environment in which to meet potential customers, discover businesses operating across different sectors, and explore where KTC BV’s product offering could meet emerging requirements.

Conversations with new contacts opened the door to discussing a variety of products, applications, and potential areas for cooperation. Meeting businesses from different parts of the industry also helped broaden the perspective on where packaging solutions could create value and where further commercial discussions could be developed.

For a growing division, these initial conversations are an important starting point. Developing a client base takes time, continued communication, and a clear understanding of the needs of different markets. SIAL provided the opportunity to begin those conversations and identify promising directions for future business development.

Aleksandra Hristov, Business Development at KTC BV, reflects:

“SIAL gave us the opportunity to meet many new faces and introduce KTC BV’s packaging offering to potential customers across different sectors. It was encouraging to see interest in our products and to explore how our solutions could fit different business requirements. These initial conversations create opportunities to build new relationships, broaden our client base, and continue developing the packaging division.”

More Than Business Meetings: The KTC Team in Paris

While commercial discussions were at the heart of the exhibition, SIAL also offered something especially valuable for a company whose team works remotely across different locations and time zones: the opportunity to spend time together in person.

Day-to-day collaboration at KTC BV often takes place through written communication, calls, and online meetings. An international exhibition creates a different setting, bringing colleagues together to work towards shared goals, exchange ideas in real time, and experience the pace of an event side by side.

The result is a combination of focused business discussions, spontaneous conversations, shared experiences, and the occasional memorable moment.

Gasper Marusa captured that lighter side of the experience in a LinkedIn post after the exhibition. One partner, noticing his red shoes, joked: “Gasper, with those shoes you belong in the Moulin Rouge!” As it happened, he had been there the previous evening.

It was a small moment, but one that reflected the personality and humour that can emerge alongside the serious work of international business.

Gasper also highlighted how hard the KTC team worked throughout the fair while finding plenty of opportunities to laugh together. For a remote team, these shared moments are a valuable part of building relationships internally, just as face-to-face meetings help strengthen relationships with partners externally.

The exhibition was therefore not only an opportunity to represent KTC BV in the international food industry, but also a chance for colleagues to reconnect, support one another, and create shared memories beyond their everyday digital interactions.

Looking Ahead: Turning Connections into Opportunities

The value of SIAL Paris extends beyond the five days of the exhibition. The conversations started in Paris can develop into new client relationships, stronger supplier partnerships, further market discussions, and commercial opportunities in the months ahead.

For KTC BV, the next step is to continue those conversations: following up with established partners, developing relationships with new contacts, and exploring the opportunities identified across food commodities, ingredients, and packaging solutions.

We would like to thank everyone who met with our team during SIAL Paris 2026 for their time, conversations, and interest in KTC BV.

We return from the exhibition with new connections to develop, existing partnerships to strengthen, and opportunities to explore together.

At KTC BV, international trade is built on more than products and markets. It is built on people, trust, teamwork, and the relationships that turn conversations into long-term cooperation
